Cabbie’s Daughter Fought All Difficulties And Landed A Job As A DELL Engineer. How Motivating!

Dreams aren’t small or big, it’s the person’s perspective that matters to tackle the situation.

Meet Kusuma R from Bengaluru, a cabbie’s daughter who fought all difficulties, had the potential to transform difficulties into opportunities; which helped her land a job in Dell.

She is a computer science graduate and her parents’ income is not huge; her father is a taxi driver and mother is a school helper. But, that never deterred the 23-year-old to overcome obstacles.

Her humility was highlighted by the fact that she owed her success to a charitable organisation which works diligently to support impoverished families.

Her mother had heard about this school from one of her colleagues and she decided to send Kusuma there.

This is what she said:

“What I’m today is because of my school teachers, who never me considered me inferior to anyone; they ensured all of us were treated as equals.”

The journey was tough; Kusuma had to battle stereotypes and not let people’s opinion affect her perspective towards life. Nevertheless, she emerged stronger.

Speaking about that, she shares her experience:

Kusuma is elated how things are shaping up. Her colleagues in DELL give her immense support which also helps her in satiating the hunger she has for learning.

She is enjoying every bit of it and takes immense pride in the fact that she can support her family.
