13 Natural And Easy Tricks To Vanish Your Pimples Overnight

Let me tell you a story.

So, few months back, I attended my sisters’ wedding. It was a very lavish and beautiful ceremony, and I had started my preparations months before the set date. I spent all my savings on a Ritu Kumar lehenga. Then I shopped more for the peripheral functions, and a day before the wedding, I got a huge ass pimple on my face. You know the best part? It grew overnight and became even bigger on the final day.

And now when I look back at those pictures, I see that everywhere. It stood out in every photograph. My cousins even named it (Ya, that’s pretty lame).

So, I have compiled a list of 13 easy home remedies to get rid of acne which will avoid such situations with you.

1. The Ice Therapy

Ice can instantly reduce redness, swelling and inflammation of pimples. It improves the blood circulation in the affected area and tightens the pores. The dirt and oil accumulated on your skin are properly removed. All you have to do is wrap a piece of ice in a cloth and hold it on the pimple for a few seconds. Repeat the process in every few minutes.

 

2. White Toothpaste

This can follow the ice treatment for better results. Apply the toothpaste on the affected area and leave it for at least half an hour. Just make sure that the toothpaste you apply is not a gel one. Use white toothpaste. It will significantly improve your swelling.

 

3. The Steam Treatment

You should anyway steam your face at least once a month (irrespective of pimples) as it opens the skin pores and let your skin breathe. Fill a large container with hot water and let the steam touch your face for a few minutes. After that, wash your face with lukewarm water and apply an oil-free moisturiser.

 

4. The Garlic Magic

Garlic is extremely effective when it comes to healing pimples. It is antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic and antioxidant that heals the area quickly. It also has sulphur which adds to the healing. All you have to do is cut a garlic clove in half and rub it on your pimple. Wash your skin with lukewarm water after 5 to 7 minutes. Repeat the process in a few hours.

 

5. Apple Cider Vinegar

Yes, it’s not a very common household element, but it acts like a powerhouse when it comes to healing pimples. It kills the bacteria and becomes alkaline which balances the Ph of your skin. Clean your face with water and pat dry. Then dip a cotton in a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water. Leave it for 10 minutes and wash with warm water.

Egg whites are full of proteins that can combat acne. It’s easily available and removes all the scars and blemishes. Separate 3 egg whites from the yolk and whisk them properly. After letting it settle for 3 minutes, apply it on your pimples using your finger, and rinse it after it dries. Repeat this 4 times and then put a final facemask for 20 minutes.

 

7. Tomatoes FTW

Tomatoes eliminate excess oil from the face and have an antioxidant called lycopene that protects the skin and fights reddening and cellular damage. It also has antibacterial ingredients that reduce blackheads and tanning. All you have to do is put a face mask of fresh tomato juice and wash it after an hour.

 

8. Orange Peels Will Do The Trick

Wash your face with warm water to open up the pores first. Then, rub the peels on pimples and dab them with orange juice. Keep it on for at least one hour before you wash it off. The vitamin C in the orange will do the trick.

 

9. Papaya, Oh Yeah

After rinsing your face with warm water (and pat dry), apply papaya’s mashed up flesh until it’s evenly applied on your face. Rinse with warm water after 15-20 minutes and apply moisturiser afterwards. It will remove all the dead skin cells from your skin and reduce the inflammation and pus.

 

10. Don’t Throw That Banana Peel

Take a banana peel and rub it gently on your skin in a circular motion. When you feel that your face has been properly covered, leave it to dry for 30 minutes. Rinse and pat dry. These peels have something called lutein which reduces inflammation and encourages healthy cell growth.

 

11. Oatmeal Mask

Turns out oatmeal can be healthy in multiple ways. Make a regular batch of oatmeal following the packet instructions, and when it’s hot and ready, take out two tablespoons and mix some honey in it. Let it stay at room temperature or few minutes, and while it is still hot, put in gently on your skin. Rinse after 20-30 minutes. Your breakouts and pimples will vanish.

Full of potassium, sulfur, phosphorus, chloride and components that can help reduce blemishes, potatoes are an excellent choice to get rid of acne. Wash your face and pat dry. After grating a potato, rub it on your face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse with warm water and say hello to improved skin.

 

13. Hibiscus Works

Take 3-4 flowers and boil them in 2 cups of water. Strain it out and let them cool. Then, add some honey. Take a paper towel or a clean cloth to apply the mixture on your pimples and rinse after 10 minutes.
