7 Posters Perfectly Show That You Shouldn’t Let Anyone Make Choices For You

In the race to break stereotypes, we often start dictating life choices unintentionally on a really influential platform called social media. We can say that people on the social media are not so ignorant that they will start following anyone blindly. But what I am trying to highlight here is a phenomenon of herd mentality. Let’s say you come across a hate post that has some thousands likes. You are bound to get curious why are these thousand people relating to something that doesn’t appeal to you? As a minor chance you might get insecure about your opinions and wonder if you are on the wrong side. Who knows you might even end up liking that post because a tiny part in you was not sure about your opinion and that post just fuelled your fire.

It’s almost fascinating to see the irony in freedom of choice and those who dictate how freedom is to be achieved. Are you afraid to be different from the mainstream?

1. A person wanting to look beautiful has nothing to do with body image

ST1

2. There’s a difference between forcing someone to do something, and them doing it by choice

ST2

3. Marrying young doesn’t mean that the person has no other goals

ST3

4. Feminism needs to be understood; it’s the need of the hour

ST4

5. Your cool quotient is only yours to own

ST5

6. Wanting routine isn’t something to look down upon

ST6

7. There’s a thin line between stereotyping, and understanding individual preferences

ST7

Don’t let a general opinion become the only opinion. Freedom is personal. Not every one has the same way to realise their liberty. Social media is indeed a sensitive place. With just one post, it can make us question our opinions. With just one click it can turn and burn opinions and I would like to conclude with a superhero quote: With great power comes great responsibility.
