2. People asked the right questions.
BMC now demolishing part of Smaaash in Kamala Mills now. It's all crazy. Why was it allowed if it's illegal! #Mumbaifire #Mumbai

3. Even we are wondering the same.
Flower pots, entrances, Christmas decorations are being pulled down today. The main issue of open spaces, refuge areas and easier exit ways clearly not the focus. 2 BMC offices in walking distance but they remember Kamala mills only today!

4. Couldn’t agree more.
Why r the pots being demolished. This could have been shifted somewhere else inside the compound!

5. And, the truth that maybe some don’t wanna face.

They bulldozed over eateries and restaurants, which were found violating the safety norms.
But, hang on. BMC just took on the baton and suddenly started the demolition drive, the very next day after the incident. Why weren’t the illegal structures demolished earlier? Why were they allowed in the first place? Is this to distract the public and a measure to cover-up their inaction?
We need answers.
