Here’s What The Indian Guy Who Declared Himself King Of Unclaimed Land Is Doing Next!

We were elated when the King of Kingdom of Dixit (KoD), King Suyash I, shared with us how he found an unclaimed land between Sudan and Egypt, Bir Tawil. He named himself the King of the land, and has really big plans for the country.

Suyash, in his last Facebook post, spoke briefly about how he’s accepting citizenship for his country and will be writing an email to the United Nations.

He spoke with Storypick and now, shares with us what are his plans for the country.

“This entire thing started in a fun way and then lots of pre-planning but then things got serious when I realised what I am going to do. I came back from Egypt and posted about my journey online. It has been a rollercoaster ride since then. Thank you also for sharing my story online on your website and making me reach where I am at this moment.

It is a high time to think about the future with kind of opportunity I have. I am getting hundreds of emails and thousands of Facebook messages with greeting, suggestions and feedback. First part of my job is to read all those suggestions and think how can I integrate it with my idea.

I also got in touch with Mr. Heaton who was at the same place a couple of years ago.

Most fundamental thing about a nation is always the thinking of its people and what inspires them to stick together while moving forward. I’ll be working on the same philosophy and want to bring people together from all across the globe on an online platform where they can share thoughts, discuss world issues and move in a common direction pushing human race forward. I don’t want it to be just words in thin air or like other discuss portals (stackexchange for an example) but some concrete results coming out of it. I am currently in talks with lot of people on how we can do this and I’ll put a draft online very soon.

I’ll be working with Mr. Heaton (Kingdom of North Sudan) on his project for all the technology part soon. He’s working hard on this project from past 2 years and I think my inputs will accelerate it.

I recommend that you check his ideas as well as they are very promising and align with my goals. Me and my company will be working as a technology partner to it. I do not want to reinvent the wheel and thus I have decided to work Mr. Heaton on it. Both of us think that if we merge our efforts and work in a same direction, we can create a big impact and help others. Plans of Mr. Heaton is focused on ground project (and I’ll be in it as well) and I am currently focusing on online ideas.”

It was highly debated that the land Suyash claims as his own has already been claimed and the Kingdom of North Sudan put out tweets saying the same. One deleted tweet read,

“Suyash Dixit falsely claims he drive from Abu Simbel to Bir Tawil. This is impossible as Lake Nasser divides the two regions and no ferry service connects to the Bir Tawil side of the lake. There is no way his vehicle traversed the open desert. Wrong tires and too clean.”

Clarifying that in a Facebook post, Dixit, wrote,

I saw there is some controversial news out there on the earlier tweets of @kingofnorthsudan.
I could not help myself from writing this post.
Yesterday, I had a very productive talk with Mr. Heaton (last person who was there) and we are on the same page for both proofs and our ideas. The allegations have been removed.
We had a long talk about his work as well. He’s a kind gentleman with a well-structured project. I’ll be joining my efforts to this project as well and would love to work on technology part of it. I wish for a long friendship between us and I sent my warm regards to his lovely daughter.
A lot of people are asking me now who’s the king here. It depends on who you are asking this question to. He’s the king of Kingdom of Sudan and I am for KoD. We both believe that we were there at the same place at different times but our ideas for Bir Tawil were aligned. We both want to work for the greater good and push the human race forward with this opportunity. I even know that more adventurous people will be coming there in future and hosting their flags and I would love to work with them as well (which I have said in all my interviews).
That’s the beauty of Bir Tawil, it doesn’t matter who the king is but what matter are the ideas of people visiting that place. To remind, I never said that I was the first there and neither Mr. Heaton did.
Rajaon ke bich 1 rajsi sulah!
PS: I’ll be in Mumbai today so let’s catch up.
If my phone is not reachable then either message in on my Instagram or email me. My Facebook messenger is so full that I need more than a week to sort it out.”

But we did reach to him and he was elated. Right now, King Suyash is enjoying the fame he’s getting and wishes to make the country a real deal.
