A Twitter Tip-off About A Massage Parlour Helps Bangalore Police Bust A Sex Racket

This is a great piece of news on how adoption of technology can have positive impact on the society. Acting on a tip-off received on Twitter, the Bangalore police jumped into action and raided a brothel in Indiranagar. The brothel was operating as a massage parlour.

The brothel advertisement was posted on an online forum

The police planned out a trap. The decoy was asked to come near Indiranagar, Shanti Sagar Hotel and someone named Dileep took the decoy to the operators.

Immediately the police sprang into action, raided the premises & arrested 5 people & rescued 4 girls

The brothel was run by a person called Dileep with the help of 3 people.

Two customers who were present to have body massage with the trafficked girls were also arrested
