‘Baahubali’ Sells Over 3.3 MM Tickets, Earns More Than ‘Dangal’ And ‘Sultan’ On Opening Day

‘Baahubali’ was grand. The cinematography was brilliant, the story, the music, the cast, the direction and everything that you could need for a mind blowing movie was present in ‘Baahubali’. Indian audiences and those abroad were thrilled alike! Now that I come to think of it, ‘Baahubali’ is undoubtedly one of the masterpieces of Indian film industry.

If ‘Baahubali’ was grand, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is grander in every sense. The film which released yesterday has crossed all records on BookMyShow and sold over 3.3 million tickets by the end of first day itself!

 

Released in over 6000 screens across India, ‘Baahubali 2’ has surpassed the record of ‘Baahubali 1’ in advance ticket sales by a whopping 350%. BookMyShow sold 12 tickets per second for the entire day on Thursday! OMG!

 

Baahubali has become the first movie in India to earn 100 Cr on an opening day. To be accurate, it earned a grand total of 115 Cr and that is record breaking. It also broke the records of ‘Dangal’ and ‘Sultan’.
