Baahubali Star Prabhas To Be The 1st South Indian Actor To Get A Statue At Madame Tussauds

An Indian getting recognized on the global platform is always a news that brings the entire country pride and happiness. Bollywood has done a very good job of putting Indian culture on the global map. Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Madhuri Dixit have graced the halls of Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museums. Now it’s time for the Southern film industry.

Prabhas, the Tollywood superstar and the lead of the worldwide hit, ‘Baahubali’ is  the first South Indian filmstar to have his wax statue placed in the halls of the prestigious Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum in Bangkok.

According to The News Minute,

“Prabhas underwent a sitting in Hyderabad with Madame Tussauds artists, where 350 photos and measurements were taken of the star to enable a truly flawless re-creation of his likeness. He will be depicted as his character Amarendra Baahubali and will be seen in his battle armor at Madame Tussauds Bangkok. Prabhas who turned into a national star after the release of the film carries a huge fanbase and popularity amongst the audiences!”

 

The director of Baahubali, S S Rajamouli took to twitter to announce this ecstatic news.
