Location: Kumaon Himalayan region

Difficulty level: Easy – Moderate

The Kafni Glacier is the source of River Kafni, which is a major tributary of the River Pindari that merges with Alaknanda River and later pours into the River Ganga. The trek to Kafni Glacier snakes through some steep uphill sections.

2. Snow Leopard Trek

Location: Ladakh

Difficulty level: Medium

The ideal period for spotting the snow Leopard is from October to March. These elusive cats are spotted throughout the Hemis National Park.
