Atul Khatri’s Recent Discovery Near Amritsar Airport Will Restore Your Faith In Humanity

For every bad thing you see in the world, there is something good every time you turn around. With everything that seems to be going downhill, with the politics and the games the people play with others through money and manipulation, there are a few people who balance out the negativity. A handful of good people who are bound with one selfless act.

Just like this experience of Atul Khatri, a comedian and a part of a comic collective known as East India Comedy. He came across Sikhs in Amritsar who run a mobile “langhar” for the people beyond the confines of the Gurudwara because helping others is the greatest kind of devotion one can have.

:: I saw this cart outside Amritsar Airport departure lounge yesterday. I was initially surprised to see a ‘hawker’ inside a security zone.

But when I asked them what it was – it turned out to be a “mobile langar” from a nearby Gurudwara ! They go around feeding free food to security people, taxi drivers and anyone else who is hungry. First time I have seen this.

God bless the Sikh Community!
