Watch: 17-YO Girl Molested And Assaulted On Road As Mumbai Watched In Silence. Shame!

Girl-Molested-Assaulted

In this bad world that’s out there, no one comes to help. People go on about their lives and your cry for help falls on deaf ears. The max they would do is record a video or click pictures and put it on social media.

When it comes to cases of assault, molestation, eve-teasing, not always would you find help in people around you when you raise an alarm. On October 17, a minor girl was molested and assaulted in the streets of Mumbai, while every one looked on and didn’t help.

Caught on CCTV camera, the 17-year-old girl, who was on her way to tuition classes, was hurled stones at by a boy.

When she raised an alarm, she was beaten up, assaulted, right in the middle of a street in Nehru Nagar (near Kurla).

But, when all of this was happening, no one came to help her. Mumbaikars went on about their lives and some stood by and just watched.

A complaint has been filed, at Mumbai’s Nehru Nagar Police Station near Kurla, and registered under IPC’s section 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation). The case is being investigated.

Really? Someone gets assaulted in the streets and people just stand and watch? We are not sure the ones standing were vocally thrashing the assaulter or not or in anyway trying to do something, but doesn’t look like anyone helped.

This can’t be the society we live in. We have to do better. We need to do better, people.
