Amrish Puri was the villain that gave heroes a complex. He was the bad guy who could give you nightmares. He was a symbol of power and hellbent attitude. And off screen, he was the most knowledgable actor one could come across. An NSD graduate, Amrishu Puri showed it to the world that there is no age limit on dreams and hence he made his cinema debut at the age of 40. Yet this terrific actors was a part of more than 400 movies, winning numerous awards including the prestigious Sangeet Natak Academy award in the year 1979.
