Alia Bhatt is one of the most successful actresses in Bollywood today. From delivering mainstream hits like ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Student of the Year’ to off-beat films like ‘Highway’ and ‘Udta Punjab’ the actress shined brilliantly. The actress has come a long way from being the silly girl no one took seriously to a smart, independent woman with her very own bachelor pad!
The ‘Dear Zindagi‘ star, in a recent interview with Elle Magazine, opened up about the critical life lessons that she learnt from 4 years in the film industry:
For a heartbreak, Alia feels that there is no perfect solution. Simply distracting yourself is only a temporary fix.
The actress gets her work ethic from her mentor Karan Johar.Â
She has always felt a strong connection with her friends.
She accepts that we come to this world alone and we shall leave alone. Her advice is to learn to enjoy your own company.
She is completely against slut-shaming and gets quite vocal when anything of the sort happens around her. Only by being vocal can we change society’s perception.
She asks us to love our body and work on making it feel better. Only then will we be able to improve our physical selves.Â
And finally, one very important lesson that her pets have taught her is not to take sh’*t from anyone!
Well, it looks like 4-years in the industry have certainly done good for this young star. She’s no more the carefree little girl we saw in ‘Student Of The Year’. Alia has evolved into a woman you should be very afraid to mess with!
