Ajay Devgn Opens Up About Why He’s Supporting The Ban On Pakistani Artists

In a recent decision, Indian Motion Pictures Producers Association (IMPPA) banned Pakistani talent to perform in India, this decision was followed by an MNS ultimatum. While most of the actors remained on the fence about this decision, Ajay Devgn has never been afraid to express his views in support of this decision.

Ajay Devgn in a recent interview with Bombay Times has shown confidence in this decision of banning Pakistani talent, for the sake of our soldier’s efforts at the border.

“I have got nothing against Pakistani actors, singers or other artistes. I have worked with them and love their music, too. But we need to understand that they are standing by their country and we should stand by ours.”

He doesn’t think the attack is limited to a political issue. It affects every sphere including art and culture.

“Our security forces personnel are getting killed by terrorists at the border. Imagine how they would feel if we say we’ll still carry on with our cultural exchange. It’s not fair to them and their families.”

Though he believes that movies that are featuring pakistani actors should be allowed to release.

It’s nice to see that someone has an opinion, which isn’t diplomatic.
