The internet is one weird place where loads of regular things don’t make sense. What make sense instead are memes, gifs, emojis, and of course, pet videos. It’s quite easy and also quite entertaining to fall prey to the lure of these viral #trends; doesn’t matter if you’re a teenager, a millennial or world renowned, highly respected cricketing legend! We’re looking at you, Adam Gilchrist!
In case you didn’t know this, let me tell you. Adam Gilchrist, or Gilly, as this former Australian cricketer and Kings XI Punjab captain is fondly called, is quite cheeky. And what you’re about to see next, is going to leave no doubts in your head about this!
Gilchrist was a commentator for the KFC Big Bash League 2017, which is an Australian professional Twenty20 cricket league, in the match between Hobart Hurricanes and Adelaide Strikers, when this happened:

“@gilly381 wants to show you something”
Well, as you now know, what Gilly wanted to really show us was the ‘circle sign’!
The ‘Circle Game’ has became quite the rage, with videos and memes going viral all over the internet.
For the uninitiated, the ‘Circle Game’ is a prank game where the player has to bring his thumb and forefinger together to form a circle, always making it below the waist. The player must then trick their opponent to look at the circle. If they are successful and the opponent looks, then the player can punch the opponent in the arm!

Of course, Twitter was super, super proud that Adam Gilchrist, of all people, didn’t just play the circle game but pretty much nailed it and now owes every one who saw the video punches!
