This Indian Artist Illustrates The Pressures Of Living With Anxiety And It’s Spot On!

Mental disorders are a serious issue which has to be approached very delicately. People struggle with different mental health problems every day, and every day, they find new ways to cope with them. If we can’t help them, the least we can do is spread awareness about how real it is and how we can accommodate them, so that they don’t feel hurt or left out because of society.

Indian illustrator and artist Pranita Kocharekar has designed a series of 15 illustrations outlining Anxiety, a mental health issue that has gripped millions over the world. She has started a movement called #AcknowledgeAnxiety, and she aims to spread awareness about it through her art.

15/15 — IS THAT YOU? is a comical series of illustrations on anxiety. Please note that these are not symptoms of anxiety but emotions of an anxious person. Kindly do not self diagnose, and visit a doctor for better guidance. However, Dr. Internet says breathing techniques are a cure to anxiety at an early stage. Acknowledge your anxiety, inhale for four – exhale for eight. Stay calm and thank you for watching! #isthatyou #acknowledgeanxiety #anxiety #disorder #mentalillness #mental #illness #pranitasdrawingaday #drawingaday #illustration #illustrationdaily #illustree #100daysproject #365daysproject #illustree #designboom #picame #pirategraphic #designtaxi #watercolour #mixmedia #design #art #pranitasdrawingaday #drawingaday #569 #worry #fear
