The internet broke down when Indian Cricket Team’s head coach, senior cricketer and master of his art, Anil Kumble took to Twitter and posted the news of his resignation. The world knows Anil Kumble as one of the greatest cricketers of his time and the most humble man on the field.
In a letter addressing all cricket fans, Anil Kumble confessed why chose to step down as the head coach. He quipped that, “The captain has reservations with his ‘style'”. He also said –
“THE CAPTAIN HAD RESERVATIONS WITH MY ‘STYLE’. THOUGH THE BCCI ATTEMPTED TO RESOLVE THE MISUNDERSTANDINGS BETWEEN THE CAPTAIN AND ME, IT WAS APPARENT THAT THE PARTNERSHIP WAS UNTENABLE.”
In no time, people started rallying the Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Sehwag, who is one of the contenders to be the new head coach, was also caught in the crossfire.
Following the incident, 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medalist, Abhinav Bindra posted a tweet about his coach. While he did not mention any names, it wasn’t hard to make out that it was meant for the captain of the Indian Cricket team.
My biggest teachers was coach Uwe.I hated him!But stuck with him for 20 years. He always told me things I did not want to hear.#justsaying

Soon enough, ace Badminton player, Jwala Gutta also replied to Bindra’s tweet and said that she also never happened to like her coach.
Sometimes that’s the important part of training ? I remember my sir doing the same…he still does it!!!
