A Man In Madhya Pradesh Was Arrested For Getting An Aadhar Card Made For His Dog

The Aadhar card (UID) is an attempt to uniquely & digitally identify people for the primary purpose of tracking the social security of an individual. It is inspired by the Social Security Number issued in the USA. As if the time spent on making our very own Aadhar card wasn’t enough, people have been making Aadhar cards of animals or even God, for that matter!!

A man from Madhya Pradesh was arrested because he got an Aadhar Card for his dog.

Yes, you read that right! This man hails from Bhind district in Madhya Pradesh. As you can see in the photo above, the dog’s name has been mentioned along with the father’s name and date of birth. Azam Khan, who is a supervisor at an Aadhaar enrolment agency in Umri district, is being questioned about this matter. The police are keen to know if he has issued more cards like these to other animals as well.

The police came to know about this incident when the residents of Kiti village complained about the delay in their issuing of cards.

However, this is not the first time that an incident like this has come to light. People have been issuing Aadhar cards for God as well!

Like, there was an incident when a man named Manish Kumar got an Aadhar card for his own dog. This man hailed from Rajpur village. Here is the Aadhar card of his dog.

Also, there was a case when a man issued an Aadhar card for Hanuman Ji.

Well, I wish somebody could tell these people about what Aadhar Card genuinely stands for and that it is not meant to be issued to animals or God. It is ONLY issued to human beings.
