21 Things I Realized About Life At 21

Ah, to be 21.

Being legal and everything. You’re suddenly pushed into this space where you have to behave like an adult, but you have literally zero experience in it. There is a myriad of changes you go through inevitably- graduating, or being in the last year of your graduation. You’re supposed to think of so many things, including your future- you’ve been thrown into adulthood all of a sudden. It’s weird, really. 21 has been a roller coaster-esque year for me, and here are a few things I learned about myself, and about life.

5. Make the best of social media, always.

6. If something doesn’t make you happy, you have every right to move to something different.

7. Friendships may fade slowly, but the real ones won’t

11. You and your parents might not get along as smoothly as you thought.

12. Just because one person is slower to reach success, it doesn’t mean they won’t reach there at all.

13. It’s okay if you don’t know what you’re doing with your life
